Description:

We are looking for a PHP/MySql Programmer who loves sharing their knowledge; both in helping guide less experienced developers with solving complex problems, as well as advising management on how to improve current practices and processes.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have 1+ years of experience in a development role
• Are passionate about web development and associated technologies
• Strive to continually learn and improve
• Have strong people skills and enjoy working with others
• Are fanatical about customer service (we take this seriously!)

Technical skills we are looking for are: 

• Expert in core PHP with OO Standard and MVC framework.
• Experience with JQuery, Javascript (and common javascript libraries), HTML and CSS
• Experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Experience wih ZEND, SYMPHONY, SHOPWARE ( BONUS)
• Experience with CMS such as WordPress, Joomla, Magento and Drupal
• Experience of using version control (git knowledge looked upon favourably)
• Knowledge of XML/JSON and using 3rd party API’s
• Experience with Hybrid Mobile Application development using HTML5 and JQuery
• Experience with deployment process
• Basic experience with the linux command line and bash scripts will be looked upon favourably
